As a store owner you probably want a video to display in your store to promote an item or a line, or one for your website to get potential clients to visit the store.

In the first case – to promote a product – create a video that explains and shows the beauty and efficiency of the features and benefits of the product.

If you own a kiosk at the mall and want to get the attention of those walking by, you’ll need a little different approach.  This video should draw people to the kiosk so the salesperson can talk, explain and sell.  You need the video to show some very specific images of the product or service you offer.  In addition, big titles that can be read from a distance will help as well.  Statements like “revive your skin,” “shine your shoes in less than a minute,” “watch the magic begin as it heats up,” or “this fantastic car pulls the coolest tricks” will bring interested clients of all ages.  Before and after visuals can do the work here, as well.




 




If you want a video for your website, you need to focus on other things such as why the client can find what he or she needs specifically in YOUR store.  It’s pretty easy today to find everything you need online, shop from home and get it within days.  So why should clients get out and come to your store? You should let them believe it’s more than just getting a product online (“You don’t even know if fits properly!”) It’s about the experience or the collection, or the option to try things on, smell them or touch them.  What is it about the in-store service they’ll receive that is so unique?  What kind of special products they won’t be able to find ANYWHERE else, or at least not in the neighborhood, city or state?  Talk about the easy-to-find location, and find good reasons to go in and instantly get what you seek – a gift for someone special, a treat for themselves and everything in between.

Vision creates video for Humanitarian Awards Brunch BCC on the Walk of Fame

230 BCC members, family, and friends gathered on Sunday, May 23 at the elegant new W Hotel at Hollywood and Vine, just steps from the Walk of Fame. Honoring three highly deserving BCC members for their selfless devotion to BCC and the larger community, this year’s Humanitarian Awards Brunch raised $140,000 to support BCC’s ongoing programs and services, including $24,000 from the silent auction.
